Family: Wife - Gale, Son - Brad
Background: Dupuy worked under his brother, a crew chief, for more than 20 years. He was most recently with Joe Amato racing, and came to Vandergriff Motorsports in 2006.
 
Bob Peck
Car Chief
Hometown: Baraboo, WI
Family: Wife - Jennifer, Daughter - Mira, Dogs - Taz and TJ
Background: Prior to joining Vandergriff Motorsports in 2006, Peck worked with Randy Parks/Fluke Motorsports, Bill Blomgren, Hartman Motorsports, and Joe Amato Racing. The most challenging part of his job? "We're competing against the best in the world, so we need to be the best."
 
Illya Kelsen
Cylinders
Hometown: Phoenix, AZ
Family: Son - Tyler, Daughter - Rylee
Background: 2007 will mark Kelsen's first year in NHRA. As Vandergriff's brother-in-law, Kelsen has spent time at the track and in the shop. Recognizing Kelsen's knowledge of cars, Vandergriff invited him to be part of the team.
 
Al Anderson
Clutch Assistant/Tire Maintenance
Hometown: Austin, MN
Background: Anderson started his NHRA career in 2004 and is enjoying being part of Vandergriff Motorsports. The best part of his job? "Being part of a team that builds a car that goes 330 mph."
 
Chris Wegler
Clutch/Drive Line
Hometown: St. Bonifacious, MN
Background: A relative newcomer to NHRA, 2007 will be Wegler's fourth year in the sport. The best part of his job? "The adrenaline rush that comes with a win or a good performance."
 
John Harford
Short Blocks
Hometown: Fort Walton Beach, FL
Background: Harford has been welding since he was 14, and fabricating most of his life. On the rare off weekend, Harford drives in local bracket races. According to Harford, the best part of his job is, "Traveling and doing something different every day."
 
Shannon King
Cylinder Head/Truck Driver
Hometown: Kewanee, IL
Background: King's 20-plus year career includes working with Candies and Hughes, Dean Skuza, Randy Anderson, John Lawson, Cruz Pedregon, Roland Leong, the Over-The-Hill Gang, and Joe Amato. His favorite part of being a truck driver is seeing the country.
 
Bob Vandergriff Sr.

Hometown:
Background: Vandergriff, Sr. was the Advertising Director for the NHRA's National Dragster publication the 1970s. Since then, he has remained active in the racing world, owning companies involved with the NHRA, and traveling with his son's team. The crew looks forward to the delicious meals Vandergriff, Sr. cooks up to keep them happy on the road.
